Jules Derks BV is a versatile manure intermediary that focuses on both its own manure flows and those of third parties. The company operates both within and outside the Netherlands and also offers fully managed manure and animal transport services.
Manure processing and international distribution
Jules Derks handles the sale of both its own manure and manure from third parties. The manure division does not focus solely on the Dutch market: digestate flows to Germany, for example.
A large part of the manure is processed via a separation installation. The thin fraction is used on the company’s own arable farm and supplied to farmers in the village, while the thick fraction finds its way to France and Germany.
As a recognised manure intermediary, Jules Derks BV is authorised to purchase, sell, store and transport manure. The company’s own lorry and manure trailer are used to transport manure from the sow farm to its own fields. In addition, the company transports its settled liquid manure to a biogas plant and delivers digestate to customers in Germany. Farmers from the region can also use the manure trailer for reliable and efficient manure transport and disposal.
