Arable farming
Jules Derks manages approximately 70 hectares of arable land, growing crops such as potatoes, onions, wheat, barley and maize. In the future, the third generation also wants to add potato and onion storage and further expand the arable land.

Strong soil, strong harvest
Within our arable farming division, we grow wheat, barley and maize, supplemented with potatoes and onions in contract farming. Our aim is to carry out the entire cultivation of potatoes and onions entirely under our own management in the future. All crops are tended with professionalism and craftsmanship, enabling us to guarantee consistent and reliable quality for wholesalers.
We are also working on the realisation of our own storage facility, which will enable us to store and market our crops efficiently. This will give us more control over the cultivation process and the final sale.
To keep our crops in top condition, we regularly take soil samples and closely monitor the soil structure. The analyses form the basis for a targeted approach to fertilisation and cultivation measures. In this way, we guarantee healthy, fertile soil that remains sustainably productive: now and in the future.
